Tanuj Agrawal was born at Jaipur in 1981 in the family of tax professionals. After completing his schooling from Vidyashram, Jaipur, he graduated in commerce from Commerce College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in 2002 and passed CA Final in November, 2003, after completing training from M/s Kalani& Company, Chartered Accountants, Jaipur. He started his practice as a Chartered Accountant since 2004. He also did CMA, CS, LL.M., Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Analysis & Control and Post Graduate Diploma in Taxation Law & Practice from University of Rajasthan. He secured 5^th rank CMA Inter (1^st rank in North India) & 3^rd rank in CMA Final (1^st rank in North India) and 1^st rank in Rajasthan University in both the PG Diploma’s in Taxation Law & Practice and in Financial Analysis & Control.

In 2015, he surrendered his CA practice and enrolled as an advocate from Bar Council. He looks after litigations in both the direct taxes and indirect taxes at all adjudication and appellate levels.

He served as various positions in the Tax Consultants Association, Jaipur, and in other social and professional forums. He served as a speaker on taxation at various seminars and conferences. He is also on editorial board of various tax magazines and journals and has contributed various articles.

At Yatharth Law Chambers he heads the litigation and advisory team.
